Lately, I've found I know when a picture is finished. For better or worse - I realize when it has become all its gonna be, and don't bother pushing it to be something more. And just make the next one better, heh.

More concept style practice. This was really fun - took a couple of hours maybe. I'm making little baby steps to somewhere I want to be. Yippee for progress!

The shed from Puhoi

I painted this with influence from a photo (I took of my girlfriend's Auntie's shed in lil' ol' Puhoi) and a painting I saw. I liked them both and wanted to cram the two into one.

Again, just painting/lighting/staging practice. And for good measure, I added a little bit of a narrative to this.
